I looked at number of 1958 coins and see only one eye, but one of the 1958 coins shows two. Is it possible, is it an error or fake?

I see something there but I don't think it's another eye. First thought is stain or debris then maybe a die gouge.

I agree. I definitely see something there in the first picture, but probably isn't another eye (or isn't intended to be one).
