SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 06/01/2014 5:17 pm The very first coin I looked at, at Heritage, had those same features (PCGS AU58). As did the next 4. Guessing that's an argument in favor of the authenticity of the coin shown here. Report this Post to the Staff
zxcccxz Pillar of the Community Canada 5417 Posts	Posted 06/01/2014 8:12 pm Coin looks authentic but the 1 being so close to the 6 concerns me, it's also a weak strike, but an altered date doesn't make sense since the 1861 is the most common date in the 60's 3 cent silver series.
