Straight from RCMs official twitter page:

Later today we will unveil a new #coin series that will bring life to Canadian tales.

Any ideas what the new series might be?

Seems like this is for the public, the june release is coming today, the same one that was released to MC members a week ago, as it says "bring life to Canadian tales" and that release had a subscription of exploring Canada, important war events, such as D-Day coin etc.

The June public release occurs tomorrow (Tuesday).

Based on today's press release from the RCM, it appears the new series referred to on Twitter is the "Haunted Canada" series.

@ commens it's my guess also, I like the other images that were linked to on the other forum. It will be interesting to hear the response to haunted Canada. I'd probably get them, if I can get at a discount. It's an affordable and interesting series for kids/teens/ or a Canadiana gift, as it's affordable. It's also a very different theme. In drugstores & gift shops I see my titles of books, with Canadian ghost stores as a subject. I live 15 mins away from a national mountain park, so I do get to browse the shops.

I just looked on the Internet, I found a Wall Street journal article about the Haunted Canada series & the image of the ghost bride coin. The launch is this afternoon at the Banff springs hotel. It's a very nice article, featuring the coin and stamp series release. It says coin will be released tomorrow. It's also on the RCM Facebook page. I noticed on the mints website they're calling it a hologram coin, I find this a strange reference. I think it will also get news coverage. Too bad it wasn't a jasper Ab ghost coin release, I'm only 45 minutes away.

You must be reading mint reviews on the coin. A reviewer thought that a glow in the dark feature would be fantastic. As far as I know it's not. I think the mint missed the mark on that. These coins would be very appropriate for glow in the dark technology. I guess you could say they missed the boat on this one.
