I only have four slabs in my collection. I need to photograph one for an article. Its an NGC slab....and I am getting a different to life colour on the label. The coin is the right color any suggestions? ( I have never photographed slabs B4). I have no problems with just the coin!

Looks pretty good to me!

Does the label color matter?

Is the coin color/tone an actual representation or does it matter?

Good questions! They have me thinking hard!! The coin is true to life....and the label on the slab is pretty clear. I suppose I wanted to have it all true to life!

You're a bit heavy on the red. It's visible here when comparing the image background to the white page background. This won't affect the dark color of the coin. Try reducing the Red channel (maybe Magenta) saturation in post.

Danke viel mal: that steered me in the right direction. The lighting I used was "fluorescing" ( cant think of a more correct term) in the hologram..I would never have picked the magenta saturation as the key Thanks!
