  Received these coins today, surprisingly without an email notification or being shown on the website. Although I called in to cancel 1/3 of my subscriptions, the rep told me its done, but they still sent me 3. I will have to return one, but it seems like this release they have slightly improved their quality, or maybe its just by chance, out of the previous 8 I bought, all coins moved and were loose inside capsule, but in this, 1 of them was completely tight and did not shake at all.

I got mine in the mail today too. It is the best $100 for $100 in my opinion as the finish on the coin is proof rather than matte proof. Also this coin has a mintage of 45,000 rather than 50,000 making it the lowest of the four coins.

Yeah I agree, I didn't know the difference in the finish as you mentioned, but it looked better than the other ones, unfortunately I cant keep all 3, so will have to return one, unless I am able to sell one of my eagle ones.

The coin looks nice. I wonder why reps are selling them yet and frankly I have no idea if I have subscription for the coin because the darn Mint website order tracking is still not working. 7 months and counting.... sarcastic  |

I just called mint regarding return, the rep told me just take it to the bank and ask them to call the mint and they will redeem it for me in the spot, this was offered to me instead of return shipping

As for the CP pricing... are they really making any commission on X for X coins?
Or the commission is calculated at the end of the year on total sales?
Anyway, thanks for sharing, this one looks really nice.

This coin looks great, I was suprised to see it in the mail since I completely forgot about the order lol.
The quality is better on this one, no nicks or scratches at all! (Unlike the canadian Lost ships coins, boy is that coin banged up)
I also like the fact that the minatge has been reduced, makes this one just a little bit more special in the series.

The reason they might tell you to return it through the bank may be motivated by the commission (if any is earned on these $X for $X coins). However, it also just makes more sense from a business perspective as the cost to reimburse financial institutions for taking coins in at face value is probably lower than the $10-15 they will need to reimburse you (or you have to pay for non-damaged returns) to ship it back with tracking.
