Error Coin: Euro Mule From France - Coin Community Forum

Cors54 New Member France 11 Posts	Posted 06/04/2014 11:32 am Hi collectors, I'm a french collector of Error Euro coins and I found a beautiful Mule from France but I don't want to keep it because it's not on my theme of research. We can see one common side of 10 Eurocent and one national side of 2 Cent France 2011 "Marianne". The coin is stroke on a 2 Cent module. I can post many pictures :) Report this Post to the Staff

We know several exemplaries for this type of Euro mule: 50 Cent common side/1 Euro Germany on 50 Cent module - 2 Euro common side/1 Euro Germany on 1 Euro module - 50 Cent common side/20 Cent common side... All of them have got a side of a value and the other of an other value. But I don't have all explications concerning the strike method which can explain it... Report this Post to the Staff

The 10 cent euro coin has much more of a thick edged rim than what you see here on the 2cent planchet. Neat coin! Wish I could stumble across one of these! Report this Post to the Staff

We ever known several mule type concerning 10 Cent & 2 Cent: 2 Cent / 10 Cent France 2009 on 10 Eurocent planchet 10 Cent / 2 Cent France 2002 on 10 Eurocent planchet This is a new type of Euro mule coins. As far as I concerned I don't want to keep it for my collection because it's not the type of error I search. So I think that I will find a collector who wants it for his collection.
