Be careful or you'll find yourself getting addicted and have to complete the whole set...lol
That's what happened to me, I picked up about a half dozen large cents as part of an accumulation I bought from a gal a few years ago. Next thing you know I'm searching around and filling in holes, I just completed the set a couple of months ago when I got a nice 1858 in fine at a coin show.

I hear what people are saying about the large cents. Two yrs ago when I discovered them they became my favorite coin. Especially a nice Victoria, there's an old world charm about them. I also like the small cents up to 1936. These two designs are very nice, I prefer them over the last cent design. In time I'd like to get a nice set of large cents. The hunting is the fun part!

the 1913 has a nice crown, I was going to get into a large cent collection but when you think of it, they have produces books because of the large quantity of variations, the way I collect, I always need to have every variation of every coin.
Good luck!

I just buy what I can, I buy the lowest priced ones first and then buy one here and there of the keys dates. I can't buy every variation there is in this coin collection but will buy the ones I like. TY

Love the coins ... keep sharing as you keep picking 'em up!
I fell in love with large cents... ended up picking up well over a 100 of them just because...
I love the band of leaves so much I plan to actually turn that into a wedding ring...

These are some really nice coins. I got a lot of these during the last coin show in Raleigh a few months ago. A dealer had a bucket of them for 50 cents apiece. I got a roll (40 ct.) for $15. Hope he is there next coin show... I'll be sure to get more. I'd have to say that I like the George V design the most.
