Got this as a gift, nice to have friends who like to help your addiction along :)

Anyway, I have this 1845 Large Cent, would love some help on grade and the interesting die break? blob? or something on the 'M' in America on the reverse. Any insight on this? Thank you... BTW, it'll get a bath in Verdi-Care to help with the verdigris... Thanks BadThad!

I knew it would get a details moniker due to the rim nicks alone, she's definitely received some abuse over the years :). Any thoughts on the reverse 'M' in america blob? I've never seen this before. Would love to know if there is any background on it.

The blob on the M on reverse looks to me like displaced metal from a hit to the bottom of the E.
