When I owned this coin, it was in an NGC-UNC details scratched holder and now it's in a PCGS MS64cac holder:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/351090542903?ru=http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html%3F_sacat=0&_from=R40&_nkw=351090542903&_rdc=1

Seriously, how did both PCGS and the CAC people miss the long scratch that goes from the "1" in the date all around the coin to the "T" in liberty? It is NOT a die crack, it is a scratch that was probably made by a knife. I guess if you have a big name and the right kind of friends in high places, you can get anything you want.

Wow. This is just plain disillusioning. So, I guess they just ignored the scratch for David Lawrence.

"Pssst. Hey David, because it's you, this is what the coin would grade if the scratch WASN'T there."

$900. I easily recognized the coin by the mark above the eagles head.

Another reason to suspect that the graders DO know who submitted the coins...

Thats weird. I don't see the scratch in those photos but I suppose it stands out in person?

Edit- Oh I see it going around near the rim.

Wait... you mean that scratch on the date?

**Added**
I found it.
You sure that's a scratch mark?
