A few years ago, I bought a 1901 $10 Legal Tender Bison note graded XF 45 from PCGS. The note has some pinholes (not annotated) but is overall a nice looking piece that faces up nicely. The pinholes will prevent this note from ever being a PPQ/EPQ note though, and I'm really trying to push my collection in the direction of having that Q for all my material. So my question is this: what would you look to sell such material for, and to upgrade what would you purchase a XF 45 EPQ for note that would make you feel comfortable with the purchase price that you would consider to be a fair market deal? While not especially rare, these are highly sought after notes. Some signature combonations are more valuable than others. I have seen XF45's go for well inexcess of $1000 at auction. Pictures are essential for a useable opinion.

Track and Price is showing that most 45's go for $2k to $3k...

There mine is, the scans make it look much dirtier and dingier than it really is in your hand.

There is a dollar hyper increase to EPQ and PPQ notes if they are original. Stunning original Bison's will far exceed the average or ever above average price. when dealers see these in auction they are hard to get.

Wow, I Really would love to have one of those, any idea what they are selling now a days?
By the way, I've only been collecting coins for 6 months, and I haven't started on bills. What do you keep them in to make sure they are safe? the 2x2 equivalent for bills?
Regards, Trevor.

Tellers Treasures - There is several mediums in which to store paper notes. My personal favorite are the rigid vinyl holders sold by BCW; they work very well and protect the notes from damage.
Master Shake - Those are some nice notes; I like the 1880 as well!

Master_Shake, I'm not sure what this one would grade at, but I paid around $900 for it recently:

Here is mine, and its story. I bought this back in the early days of ebay, from a seller in Russia. 1997 or so. I rolled the dice and bought it raw. I received it in a hard covered book in Russian pressed in a computer science book. I was pleased with the note, and send to PMG for grading. Here it is. Thanks for looking.
