However, these are commonly faked. Better pictures will help us find out if it is real or not.

Sorry, but it looks fake.
The details on the obverse (front) looks very crude even at first sight. The seated figure's detail look even more crude.
Search "French Indochina Piastre" and you will see images of genuine ones as well as fake ones.

With the (extremely) crude fake 1799 dollar you posted and your location (Singapore), it seems like you have some Chinese mass-produced fakes. Stay away from those fakes!
