INSTEN 300g x 0.01g Mini Digital Jewelry Pocket GRAM Scale LCD

Hi CCF ------------------

I can get this for $15.95.

Will this one do well for me with my Ikes and other coins?

Is there any "down side" to this 300g X .01g configuration?

Thanks to all

the 1797 English twopence was 2 ounces (c.57 grams).
There are very few coins larger than that.
So a scale that goes up to 300g is ample for a coin collector.

0.01g increments are fine - even if you're into gold coins.

The problem that I prefer to avoid is the batteries - the hearing-aid, or "button" style are quite expensive,
and I find that they go flat after minimal use.
I now make it a rule to stick to AA or AAA batteries.

I have no knowledge of "Insten" brand products.
That said, the price also seems quite reasonable.

This will do it for you all right but I bought a scale of the same specs on ebay last month for $7 and it works just fine. And shipping was free too. You could do better for that price.

Everyone needs to save money.

Do you have any info on how to get one on ebay?

Or just start searching on ebay.

And thanks for the help

Just search on ebay, there will be plenty. Make sure you look at feedback left for precious sales of the item to make sure you're not buying something with a high rate of defects.
