Like most of you I guess, I like to order coins on line and wait for them to come in the mail.

Often the coins are shipped in "Safe Flip" like flips, but they're thicker and more flexible. I seem to remember reading somewhere that these materials are fine for shipping coins, but not for long term storage.

Anybody have a little more info regarding these flip type materials and whats okay short term vs. long term?

Any / all feedback appreciated.

Do you have a picture of these flips?

As long as the flip doesn't contain PVC, it should be alright. Personally I don't use flips for my more expensive coins, I opt for an airtite holder. For inexpensive coins I usually leave them in the flips they came in.
