Does this look like machine damage to you? What caught my attention is the height of the doubled "6" looks the same.Check out the mint mark too.

Considering the rest of the coin I'm have to say contact damage.

Possible ejection machine damage. If it were parallel to the rim I would think it was coin wrapper damaged. But it is not parallel to the rim. Just a damaged coin. Not hub doubling.
