Using my icollector.com account I placed a safe max bid on a coin I was interested in from the last jesusvico auction. When the presale bidding ended I had the winning bid (plus a safe margin, just in case!). Turns out that Jesusvico totally ignored my bid and sold the coin to someone else during live-bidding, at a price which was well below my winning presale bid (not to mention my max bid!).
I got a very lame explanation/excuse from Jesus Vico while I haven't gotten an answer to my mail sent to icollector.com.
I pride myself on taking my responsibilities as a winning bidder very seriously and would have expected the same from the auction house.
Is there anything that can be done in such a case?
