Found this coin in a lot of foreign coins I bought recently. The diameter is 17.4-18.1 mm. Weight: 2 g. I don't know anything about ancient coins so any info is highly appreciated. Is it fake or real? What is a date and denomination? How much it can worth?
Thanks in advance.
Nick

Constantine I (The Great) This is an AE3 follis struck from 330-335 AD. The obverse legend is CONSTANTINVS MAX AVG and the reverse legend is GLORIA EXERCITVS (glory to the military. The SMANB is the mint mark for Antioch. The reference is RIC VII 86. The coin is worth in this condition about $10. If the green material is powdery than the coin has bronze disease and it needs to be treated before the coin is ruined.

I'm moving this thread over to the Ancient coin section for more comments.

nick, rub that all those green areas with your fingernail. if any of it flakes off as a powdery type stuff as ski mentioned, treat it. any green stuff on the coin that is hard isn't a problem (some of that darker green stuff at the bottom doesn't look suspicious) rub off the green stuff that will come off as best you can with a toothpick or something like that. get some distilled water, pour in a small container and plop it in. let it set several days. repeat and change out for fresh water. when done you can bake the coin at 200 F for 15 minutes in an over, or at least set it in direct sunlight for several hours (i put then on a pie pan or some aluminum foil). this removes any water.

ID is already given, but its not worth $10. I usually get things in lots - in a lot, id think about 50p-£1 per is about right for this quality. On its own, it should get you $5. If its your only ancient coin, I recommend you keep it.

I think that is too low for a mostly-detailed id'able coin like this one Ben. $8-9 at most would be about right for it.

Nice example.
Be careful with the green stuff, it may be Bronze Disease and it might be stable at the moment, fiddling with it may activate corrosion.
