New here, so I'm probably going to be more of an ask-er than an answer-er for a while, but hopefully that will change over time!

Going through my stepfather's coin collection (here in India), not a whole lot of US coins, so it makes the process of going through all of them not quite so daunting!

With some searching online, I noted that there was a 1984 D doubled-date variant. Is this what I have? Appears to be the same as this completed ebay listing:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1984-D-Linc...111367449128

My coin appears to be Mint State (I see the cartwheels that I just read about!), although with quite a nick in Lincoln's nose! So would it be a 10-15$ variant?

Looks like a normal coin to me. The lighting is making you think something is going on when there is just light reflection. The devices are normal sized.

Good to know, I guess I'm just seeing the upper and lower edges with some parallax, which makes it seem like a double.

If the reverse looks as nice as the obverse I would keep it as an above average condition cent.
