Hi guys...This 1958 - 50 cent coin weighs in at 11.71 grams and it is suppose to weigh (brand new) 11.66 grams...Don't understand why it weighs so much...Any ideas..?

all is well !! there are tolerances in these issues. I have a 1957 that is a touch heavy.

That's less than one-half of one percent. Not significant.

Ya..guess your right..I was just looking at a 1966 and it weighs even more 11.79 grams and a 1965 weighs 11.87 grams...Thanks guys.
