Like usual I asked if they have anything old, the teller pulled out a '75 and I asked if they have more. He looked and found this! Was a bit confused to what it was at first because the size is closer to a voyageur than a 50-cent. Did the drop test and almost jumped for joy

There's a few prints on the coin. On the reverse: under cents, above the date, above Canada. On the obverse: on lizab, another one on beth, under egin. My camera doesn't show them too well.
There's some dark patches on it, I don't know if it's toning or dirt but I don't really like it.

I was going to say XF (you can see wear in the cheek) but will the fingerprints bring it down to VF?

EF is reasonable. Fingerprints don't add wear, so they shouldn't lower the grade (by Canadian technical grading standards).

Getting things like this from the bank make it all worthwhile.

You will easily get $5-$8 for this as it is guaranteed to be 80% silver along with the 1967 dollar.
You really lucked out getting this from the teller. EF from me.

East, doesn't eye appeal come in as a factor too when grading? They're light prints, but they're still there.

Any chance this is a PL?

I don't have a silver voyageur yet, still waiting for my luck to come across someone's dump

I really lucked out on basically anything related to numismatics lately. This is my third ever circulated silver for face. The teller thought they only had the one '75 (which strangely looks to be quite circulated with al the nicks and prints), but I asked him to check if there are any more in the branch (I'm sort of hoarding them nickel ones for now). He found one, I certainly didn't expect this!

Very nice overall, it doesn't have the circulation scratches as expected from circulated grades. Kinda looks a bit like my pocketpiece actually, really even wear with few scratches. My pocketpiece just has more scratches now though because I'm quite careless with it. Now I wonder, did someone accidentally spend their pocketpiece?

Melt as of now is nearly $6, coinsandcanada says numismatically it's worth $9. What does Charlton say?

Ring the register on this one. It pays to search rolls of half dollars at banks on either side of the 49th. What you can usually pull out (usually does not fail on a large batch say $200.00 face or more) stateside are the 40% Silver Half Dollars from 1965-1970 although you rarely ever see 1970 cause those were minted only at Denver and were only issued in mint sets.

People don't roll 50-cents coins up here since they're very uncommon. I had to ask around for a couple of months. I never see their rolls being sold, so I improvised using a loonie roll (too tight fit) and a toonie roll (too loose fit). And this the silver ones are also a much bigger so they can't be rolled up together.

Edit: Wait, I think I see short, fine hairlines everywhere and going every direction on it when I angle the light a certain way. But they are very hard to see, not harsh and going across the whole coin in one direction like the cleaning hairlines that you can see clearly even in photos. I don't think I can get these on a photo. Does this mean my coin was cleaned or is it just marks from normal wear?
