I say VG-8 scratched. I tend to undergrade much though.

Welcome aboard Bighead... Your key date nickel looks to be in the F12-15 grade range. Unfortunately it has a meter scratch and if it was TPG's it mostly likely would be designated as "scratch". Thanks for sharing and it's still a nice example of a tough date.
