I took I don't know how many pictures and narrowed it down to these few. I know there are a few varieties for the 1883/2 Shield nickel so if this is perhaps the real thing which variety would it fall under. Thanks!

What I assume is a two, seems to be more out there in the open than the varieties I found, with pictures. I would like to thank shieldnickels.net though if that kind of thing is permitted. Helped. I feel that this may be an early die state which unfortunately doesn't help me on this variety from what I've read so far. Still digging in though.

1882 heavy 2, NOT one of the 1883/2 overdates. Does not have the 1883 date logotype.

The 2 is way to prominent to be a 1883/2.

1882 heavy 2

Is the heavy 2 a re-punched 2, or just from die chipping?

Typically the heavy 2 comes from die chipping.
