There are a couple different tests that can be done with a magnet but a magnet will stick to only maybe 20% of the fakes out there and that percentage is dropping. The 23 gram weight though is instant confirmation that the pieces are fake. (And not to chastise you too much but that test should have been done before coming here to ask if they were real.) xamenos New Member Australia 6 Posts	Posted 06/24/2014 6:22 pm Hi, I've been buying badges and postcards of this person for over a year now he offered the coins to me as genuine, he has a small market stall in melbourne selling badges, postcards,football cards etc. I haven't had time to go and see him yet but when I do I am going to ask him for a refund.
