Definitely not 265....look at the 8th berry comparatively...lots of varieties in 1803, if no one calls it I will check later...

not sure whether I will keep or sell it. Looks like a match for S-261 according to largecents.net images. Has an obverse arc crack. Little verdicare should remove that very small amount of verdegris. Coinfacts says scarce so I guess it is around R-3

Sheldon 261 is R-2 in CQR. Looks quite nice to me. I think you paid about 1/2 of what it is worth (at least according to CQR).
