Hi Zeke - it looks like doubling, but not double die. Probably an RPM instead. What year are we looking at? LWC?

Does not look like an RPM to me.Possible MD or maybe a damaged MM punch or just PMD.Let's wait for coop. John1

If we saw the tops of the date, it probably also looks like this as well. If it does, then it is machine damage. If it were a RPM, then it would be raised and not flat shelf like. So I'll wait for images of the tops of the date to see what is going on with your coin.

I'm not thinking PMD. Doubling of some kind, but if MD, then wouldn't the date devices show it as well?
