Good Afternoon Everyone:

My father recently passed away and I am going through his coin collection for my mother. I came upon this 1909 penny. It is not a VDB. But there are several scratches (die scratches?). Can anyone provide any information regarding this coin, please?

Thank you biokemist6! I am pouring through thousands of coins (at least they are separated by date). This is rather intimidating.

PMD, die abrasions from polishing only show in the fields and not on the devices.
