Ive been trying to locate this coin for some time now unattributed. Finally snagged one at a local coin show today. This is the Snow 10d variety. Also known as the "Reverse of 1869" , this is a scarce variety for the dates 1871 and 1872. It was also a variety in 1870, however a greater number exist for that year.

Its graded MS63RB, but unfortunately there is a debris strike-through on the 3rd and 4th feather. PCGS designated it a Mint Error "Minor Obv Strike thru". I've got a coupon coming from NGC for 5 free gradings, might consider rolling the dice and seeing what they will call it.

Looks like PCGS graded it right from the photos. Great coin BTW
