Noticed the die cracks and clash on this one in junk bin at LCS so I picked it up for a fiver..

Looks like this one was polished, I see clashed and die cracks too, still a cool find, though both cracks and clashes are fairly common with the 3CN series. Looks to grade around VF20. Can't beat a coin like this from a junk bin.

Never picked up a 3CN before but I like clashes and die cracks... unfortunately I have not seen any high grade 3CN locally to start snagging them.

Early 3 cent nickels are notorious for weak strikes and clashed dies.

I agree with westcoin on the grade a polishing; I love this series for the issues it has. I can't tell from the pictures but does it also have Longacre doubling? I find that where there are cracks, Longacre doubling seems to follow.
