Today I went to the bank and asked for any old currency. The teller took out $1500 of series 1950 $20 and $10 bills. I got $850 worth. The conditions range from good to uncirculated! Any idea on values?

Congrats! I only own one 1981 "small head" in just good enough condition to keep. I cane across a site listing US paper money values, it is Paper Money Guide, but I don't know how reliable it is.

The uncirculated notes should carry some sort of premium. Any fancy serial numbers or star notes should carry a premium as well, especially if they are uncirculated. You can check ebay and Heritage Auctions for any past auctions to give you an idea of what some of them might be worth.

One star, a 1950 B $10. It is in very bad condition though.

With the lower grade notes, should I keep, sell, or spend them?

Okay, that is one of the more common Fed Bank stars for that series.

To be honest, circulated 1950 notes in general do not command much of a premium.

I was able to sell a few on another website (not ebay), but only at face value so it may not be worth your time to list if you want to get rid of them.

I am keeping/selling the uncirculated notes and the 1950 E notes. From what I have seen the 1950 E notes are rarer than the rest. I will just spend the other ones.
