Hang on to your new piece of history! I may be missing something, but I don't see anything that could command a premium for this coin. More pictures would help us to determine the value, but it's most likely not worth more than $10.

ty for your info can you tell if its a bombay melbourne or Perth Mint I had it sent in to pcgs and the local coin shop told me I need to have it sent back in or to another because pcgs can only use 10x

ty for the warm welcome the reason I'm asking is if its a bombay there is only six made and I cant find anything else about it no pictures or info driving me crazy lol I have more pics will try to get them on soon

Bombay-minted Australian WWII-period bronzes are very distinctive-looking. The rims and general detain are typically sharper than on Australian-minted coins, and there are always two nice, clear, sharply defined dots on either side of the denomination. Here's a 1943 Bombay penny to illustrate.

Perth-minted pennies are often weakly struck. The mintmark in 1945 was a single dot after PENNY. Though this one has a nasty combination of heavy wear and weak strike, the dot is still visible. This coin is Perth-minted.
