I may be missing something, but I don't see anything that could command a premium for this coin. More pictures would help us to determine the value, but it's most likely not worth more than $10. Sap Moderator Australia 16829 Posts	Posted 06/26/2014 02:15 am Bombay-minted Australian WWII-period bronzes are very distinctive-looking. The rims and general detain are typically sharper than on Australian-minted coins, and there are always two nice, clear, sharply defined dots on either side of the denomination. Here's a 1943 Bombay penny to illustrate. Perth-minted pennies are often weakly struck. The mintmark in 1945 was a single dot after PENNY. Though this one has a nasty combination of heavy wear and weak strike, the dot is still visible. This coin is Perth-minted. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis Report this Post to the Staff
