It looks like part of the rim finned and folded over, but this is the only specimen I've come across and I've nothing to benchmark against. Or is this PMD?

That's an odd one.... It looks like the "M" is displaced, but it's hard to tell if it was on the die or happened after. And the extra looking devices are even stranger.

Hi Agrippa - it has this shell like (scallop) appearance. Looks to be folded metal over metal and the rim, other than damaged, doesn't appear to be burnished to the extent it can account for the amount of material on the reverse. I saw someone mention in a Cud thread the term 'finned rim' or something close, so I thought maybe this was an example. I need to do some research, but tossed it out there before hitting the hay.
