What is this CCW I keep hearing about ebay doing away with? People have been saying ebay is making it easier for people to get away with fake coin listings, but I don't understand these acronyms they are using to describe it.

CCW was ebay's Community Coin Watch, an association of numismatic experts and ebay employees whose job it was to research and act on people's reports of bad auctions and counterfeit coins. They were pretty darn effective, and I know of more than one CCF member who was (quietly) affiliated with them. They disbanded it recently. It's still possible to report auctions, but they'll be acted upon - if at all - by people who are clueless about coins.
Rest in Peace

Key operative, I have not had a response in weeks let alone a listing removed.

I've not gotten a response, which is policy for the standard reporting system. I have had listings removed quickly though.

I feel like PCGS's re-holder service would make a few people more comfortable. The slabs are from a period where PCGS's labels were awfully bland. Heck, I hate to admit it but I was fooled by the listing too, the slabs just didn't look right. But after looking at the seller's ratings, it seemed unusual for him to post that.

The new blue-white label, whiter plastic, and Du-Pont registry sticker would reassure quite a few buyers.

Woah woah woah.. You can't just go around apologizing on the internet! That might break the entire internet! Take it back! Call them derogatory names! NEVER APOLOGIZE!!

Somehow, someway, the internet survived! Good on you for admitting and owning up to your mistake. I'm glad I'm part of a forum that can show such civility.
