This coin

A friend has this coin that still has the center hole. It wasn't punched out. Does this error carry any premium?

Thanks

It's definitely supposed to have a hole, so it is an error. Neat! I'd be willing to bet that it would carry a significant premium. I'd suggest sending it to be graded at either NGC or PCGS and specify it to have the error designated on the slab (there's a slight increase in the fee for this). Then, you could send pictures of it to Mint Error News and/or Ken Potter and see what they think.

I'd love to hear the outcome, so please do keep us posted on what they say
