I recently came across lots of information in my grandmothers book shelf and thought I would share...

Basically, on October 7th 1915 a group of prominent Indianapolis people held a birthday dinner for J.W. Riley. At that dinner they decided to form a committee and award a a commemorative medal. The first Medal was sculpted by Lorado Taft and 500 were made. they were presented in April of 2016, Riley died that summer. I have no idea what this is worth. But that it is a cool medal and well executed.
