Ok, so after finding a Cud a couple weeks back and discovering this awesome site, gotta say yall are quick and you know your shtuff. Well I went through my small collection with a magnifying glass and I got to the last quarter in my 125 commemorative Canadian set and thought it looked weird...so is this normal? common, what happened to it? did the die slip? or is this nothing at all? any help would be great. thnx

Looks like Machine Doubling but could be a doubled die for all we know, wed need straight up shots to be sure.

There are some varieties for this series though that are worth a red cent or two(hundred or more $s)
The varieties are the
the new Brunswick upset dies(like american coins)

The new Brunswick with the top of queen pointe straight right compared to the
reverse

The northwest terr. With top of queen pointed right like the one stated above

And the Saskatchewan with upset dies(like american coins) this variety aperently has only three certified but there are bound to be more.

sorry I'm using my camera phone for the pics looks way more defined with mag glass, also on the side where Nova Sc is located it looks like there is a raised rim along the edge of the rim of the coin .....does that make sense
