I voted no. I only search rolls when I get coins from my bank to use on Project 100K.

Yes, I coin roll hunt. I usually go through $50.00 in pennies every week. I have good luck on finding wheat cents, that's what I try and find.

I order a box of Halves, go through them at my own pace at night at home and then return them and order another. And at work (big box retailer) I get a chance to see the coins when they come in, but only if they are in the plastic wrap. I'll scan the Quartes and Dimes quickly and if I see a silver band I break open that roll. For the most part I get lucky, especially with dimes. Plus I constantly check pennies, keep wheaties seperate and then seperate out the copper.

I go through at least 20 rolls of pennies a week for this few past weeks. Also sometimes I get quarters or nickels, dimes rarely. Not too much luck finding old coins in the white coins, but as long as I carry my sixpence around, I always find something worth keeping in the pennies.

My name is Frodo..And I am a roll hunter

the addiction started out small, first I would check the dates on coins in my pocket.
it was innocent enough..
then one day, I bought a roll. then 2, then three
then I found the BOX'S....
it has been down hill ever since

i found the cents to be a gateway habit
soon, I progressed to the harder stuff.
NICKELS!!!

I am pretty hard into the pennies also. Searching all I can before the supply dries up for good. Rollers scattered around me and stained fingertips. The smell of copper heavy in the air.

Yes, I'm a CRH. I actually look forward to going through rolls.

Right now, I'm concentrating on quarters. Mostly to help me kids complete their ATB sets.

I have done dimes as well - again, to help the kids complete sets.

After we get caught up on quarters, they want to work on earlier Jefferson nickels. I'll probably start getting a box a week then.
