Thanke Appleangel, saw your comment in another thread.

A little while ago, I purchased some coins from a Forum member, and they arrived in a sealed saflip! I thought to myself "what a blxxdy good idea! So now my mind has been twigged afresh, can someone please provide some more info.

Bascially, questions are as follows:

1)is the a special machine used to seal them, or can I just use something like the heat element on my food vacuum food saver thingy?

2)Is there a particular brand of saflip you can use, or is it a specialised item? Or can you use any brand?

3)Can you buy "raw sheets" of material? ie, just sheets without any pockets already made up?, so that you can form pockets to the size you like?

Any information would be most useful, TIA

141309787916 sealers like this are available on the bay if you just search heat sealers.

http://www.thepurplepenny.com/53,sa...ts-most.html these are the salfips I use, which reminds me I need a couple more packs.
I'm not sure about any other brands as I don't use any others.
& again not sure about the raw sheets.
