This one looks pretty cool but the price is a little high but fairly low mintage I think it could go up in value in the future.

Will agree with this. I want it but have no budget.
Does not think, that will be so popular as 5oz Penny coin, but will hold the value.

I agree the design on this coin is captivating and rich in detail. There is so much to look at on this coin, it uses it's space well. I wish I had the resources to buy this one, it wouldn't matter if it appreciated, it wouldn't be for resale. There have been a few really great designs on the 5 Oz coins in the last few years. It will be fun to watch what this coin does on the secondary market.

Uh Oh! I find myself agreeing with Pocket Change and Silveroid again!

The design is growing on me, but I still find the price prohibitive.

I'm not so sure, Elk that it will eventually increase in value. I guess time will tell.

@ NuMoosey, we have to stop meeting like this!! What will others think lol, enjoy your weekend . Tomorrow it's off to gramma's house and Sunday my son starts a week of camp. Our yearly visit back to where I spent my teen years. An old homestead with lake access; and the only modern convenience is a landline. Cell phones don't work in that area. The closet neighbour is 4 miles. Now that's what summer is all about!

if I buy the 5oz coin, I would buy this: http://www.royalmint.com/shop/The_B...r_Proof_Coin .. mintage is 600 but too bad.. I am a bit tight on cash

Why to buy overpriced bullion Britannia? Better to buy ATB coins....
Joking, but it really overpriced

I am looking for 1oz version, but searched previous years closed listings - all except some rare years sells below issue. This stops me....but need to say - the 2014 design exceptionally good.
Additional though - they issue it annually, I have the 2012, if I buy the 2014, what for it will be - just as nice coin, or to start buying each year?

These are proof and it looks different than the bullion version. Plus it now has a different design each year. I do agree it is over priced but at least it has a decent mintage

With the Mint producing so many coins, no more sold-outs, and all the 5 oz are going BELOW issue price on ebay, except the penny one ... I really doubt it would ever be possible to make money on that coin, so I would say buy it for yourself, but not to resell. If not, great design.
