I know this is probably not the best place to ask, but what are you guys getting for scrapped copper per pound? Kitco says $3.23/lb today so I assume scrapyards are probably doing like $2/lb. I'm in the northeast US if that makes a difference.

One of my employee's husband is a scrapper and a dumpster diver. It's hard work and the pay is terrible but he love is job(lifestyle).
