Went by a couple of banks last week to pick up some boxes of nickels and cents. Got a box of each at two different banks. I was very disappointed since both boxes of nickels were brand new 2014's and one box of cents was 2014's. Anyway, while breaking open the nickels about half of the ones I broke open were all new except they had 1, 2 or three old nickels (1960's) in the middle of the rolls. Not sure if that is odd or just different for me. Anyone else ever seen this?

that does seem odd, you would think a 2014 on the front and back would mean the middle too!

Not really odd... I just got a box like that.

Someone had dumped a solid 2014 box and in the re-rolling process some older ones were mixed in, dump them at different banks/branches or on different days to split them up.

Heck I even got $500 in half's once that was 95-98% all dated 1980-D and all in AU-BU condition. But a few other dates too.
