So here's my story sorry it's long and thanks to whoever reads it and can give me there opinion.

I got a email from ebay that if I list something to sell I get a$10 coupon if it sells and is payed for by a certain date I get another.I mostly buy but I have sold a few things all coins of course.
So I listed a special wrapped roll and people bid on it a guy won it with 7 feedback and I had a bad feeling not cause of his score everybody gotta start somewhere and heck I only got like 201 so I'm not big or nothing, anyway I just had a bad feeling,my listings state please pay within 3 Days and No Returns.I sent him 2 invoices over 4 days never answered me so I sent him a message he said he was just waiting for his funds to clear with paypal then would pay then said he couldn't check out and asked me if I could send it to a different address in Canada as the invoice says he lives in USA he uses his canada address when he buys stuff in canada I said no I can't do that he changed his address to canada address couldn't check out because the invoice still said USA I called ebay they said tell him to send you a invoice request and it would update and work and it did and he payed that night.
I Took some heavy foam cut out the middle wrapped it inside taped it up put it in a bubble envelope and was getting ready to mail it and he asked me if I had anymore rolls and I said yes as I thought he was just interested in buying more then he tells me he doesn't like that coa and what are my other numbers and could I send him one of those I said no I couldn't as it could cause a problem because it wouldn't have matched my listing(plus I was getting very nervous now and had already packaged it).
So I mailed it tracking and signature he gets it messages me that he called ebay to open a case because it was broke open and he wants a full refund and wants me to pay for him to ship it back to me and that It is not as described in my listing as I only took a picture of the roll from the side showing the coa and front and back showing the coins in the roll but no picture of the back side of the roll so it's not as described (LOL WHAT).
The pictures he sent me of the roll being broken open looks like it was taken in your two hands and snapped open also in the pictures he sent me it does not show the coa number it is turned just enough in both pictures that you can't see the number.
I Called ebay spoke to 2 different people and they both said it all seems and looks suspicios and that I don't accept returns and I don't have to pay return shipping and I should tell the person to open a case and let them handle it.
So what are my chances of not getting screwed in this deal.

Unfortunately, while 99.9%+ of eBayers are honest, ebay doesn't give you many tools to deal with those that aren't. Because you have a tracking number you at least have a chance. I presume you also have insurance with that tracking number? In which case, if eBay/Paypal refuse to protect you then you can put in a claim for it being damaged in transit and likely get your money back eventually that way.
Ask for pictures of the roll to show the COA and ask for pictures of the packaging showing the damage claimed.

He sounds a little dishonest but at this point it is out of your hands. You have a no return policy so I hope they don't but I think ebay will side with the buyer, they tend to always do. Return shipping will be his responsibility even in a item is not described case. Canadapost will cover your lost and you'll get to keep the roll. Unless you use regular parcel in which case free insurance is no longer included.

As kuh_85 said ask for more proof of the damage roll. And if it does end up getting sent back to you take pictures of the item sent back and make sure it was the one you sent.

Ask for pics of the damaged rolls cereal number, if it doesn't match up with the cerial number of the roll you sent(which you can prove with the pictures)than he's kept the roll you sent and is definitely trying to scam you.
Feel free to call me Will.

you need to check with the carrier you used to ship the roll, because in my business (shipping product world wide) if the recipient does not initiate the Damage claim upon receipt of the goods, you have almost no way of claiming anything after the fact.

Make sure you get from the shipping company something called a "POD" (Proof of Delivery) which will have the recipients signature, the form they sign usually says that they have received the items in good condition.

This is what I would do; NOTHING. Make him start the process to make the claim through eBay/paypal.

As this was your first attempt to sell, use this as like a class test, and you have learned a valuable lesson.

Document everything, photograph everything

Good Luck.

Yes I had insurance,I don't think I should have to pay for return shipping,he did sign for it and for the roll to take that kind of beating you think the outside package would be beat up but no picture of that.Im gonna try upload a few picks hope this works lol.

I bet he owned his own roll of special pennies that got wrecked and was out fishing for a new roll to replace his by scamming someone out of one. If he found someone that didn't track it he would have won. I wonder how many rolls he's acquired doing this?

Fortunately for you it was tracked and signed. If he opens a claim I think the worst that will happen is that the item will be returned to you and you'll be out that roll if you didn't have insurance through the post office. He will be on the hook for return shipping that MUST be tracked as well, or he can't prove receipt of delivery back to you. I hope you had insurance just in case.

If you look at the difference in the rolls,,,,your COA is in a completely different spot than the one in his picture. That would not have moved with any amount of damage. I think he's taking you for a ride.

Well I guess you could tell the buyer the roll is not as described ;) because there is no image if the COA and/or the coins.

Is there more than one barcode on the roll you shipped? I ask because on yours the word farewell is directly below the barcode which is adjacent to the numbers on the coa. On his picture, that spot has the word adieu. Different roll IMO.
