My LCS had an ICCS MS-64 1947 blunt 7 silver dollar for sale and I wanted to buy it. I was a bit hesitant in buying it at first because it would be my biggest purchase, I decided the price and terms were fair enough and I'm more than happy with the coin.
I'm not mentioning what I'm paying but the catalog value is $1250 according to ccn.

Out of curiosity I want to hear 2 prices you would pay for the coin.
The first price from an investment standpoint and the second from a going to stay in your collection and past down stand point.

To describe the coin I'd say a nice mirror reverse with slight cameo and an obverse that just misses the cameo designation.
The coin is also very clean and has little to no toning along with a repunched 4 and multi punched 7 which is not mentioned on the holder.

C&C.com gives it $1,200. Charlton is $1,500. So I would pay up to $900 total including taxes as it's higher grade than the one I currently have. Charlton gives a 10% premium for the 7/7 variety. Did you check it for DHP?
I wouldn't buy it for 'investment' but if it was <$600 total I would be sorely tempted.

The coin is very strange, I looked over it for a while and the repunched 7 is like nothing I've seen before I think if I take the time I could count up to 4 7s, its is also a DDO which causes the doubled HP varieties but on this DDO the HP wasn't affected so no mention on the flip. Out of curiosity what grade is you're, if you don't mind telling?

Better that you are fascinated by 1947 dollars , rather than in love with lets say 2014 Nanaboozoo NCLT RCM Junk. Nice high grade dollars of the 1945-,46, and 47 period are way underestimated in my opinion!
