The first character is "å—£" in Chinese "Si", but that would be how the characters are pronounced in Chinese. This coin is Vietnamese, where the four characters are pronounced "Tu Duc thong bao". The Tu Duc emperor of Vietnam reigned 1847-1883. The two characters on the back are the denomination, "10 van" or translated "10 cash".
