Thats a nice looking one richard. I can't tell from the pics if its full steps or not but my guess on the grade would be MS-65 but I am not great at grading but I give it my best shot.

Those four parallel scratches on the face are lowing my opinion. I'll have to say MS-64.

Hi Nohope

I think the coin is an MS-64 due to the already noted Hits on the obverse,, The coin looks very close to fullsteps but I cannot be sure from the picture,

Im interested in the MM ,,What exactly does the doubling look like on it ?

I'm trying to decide between MS64 or MS65 - but I think I'll go with MS65!

MS64 here. As mentioned is the reason, very nice coin. Gotta love these War Nickels in the higher grades!

Its not full steps due to strike rather than any scratches or nicks. There is slight doubling on the mm and Monticello with more pronounced doubling on the S of States. Sorry my microscope is not connected to this system.

I called it MS63 when I bought it but on taking it out of the 2x2 I think I was a little harsh as the mylar dulled the luster considerably. I now have to decide if I am going to replace the 62FS one in my folder with this one or keep looking for an upgrade.
