I found these going through some change the other day they look like a die break? on the New Mex with about 4 areas noticeable around the border of the state, the Bison quarter appears to be matte/satin in appearance or from chemicals idunno, but it looks to be a humpback version albeit a rather warn humpback....more like a mole I guess both are P marked. I guess my question is are they rare? or nah not really. thnx

The NM looks like a die chip in that area.

I see nothing to indicate a clash could happen in that area.

Kansas quarter looks like a normal circulated coin?

I think I see a little die chip on the back of Kansas one as well follow the bottom of right side of the 2nd A in Kansas straight down

I found one of the New Mexico quaters with the same die chip or whatever it is in my pocket change a while back. I ended up spending it on accident. I thought it looked like a clash also, but, when I could not figure out what the clash would have been unless the dies were rotated when they clashed. It could just be some type of die wear of something else.
