They say europa Hamburg 1998 one is 1 euro and the other 5 euro. They look to be a set, and would be around 10 grams just looking at them. Can anyone tell me what they are, possible value or book number or anything? Thanks for any help

I will take better picks tomorrow sorry as I don't have good lighting at the moment. I will have a look in the world book of coins again paying more attention to Germany. I forgot to mention that they look to be Proof quality also.

As Germany wasn't using the Euro in 1998, these will be privately issued. Sadly, they don't seem to have troubled the compilers of Unusual World Coins 4th edition. Maybe they're in a later edition.

Ok that might explain why I can't find anything on them. It has the word europawoche which means Europe week translated. So maybe it was held in Hamburg.
