What Is The Average Grade Of Circulated Coins?

zxcccxz Pillar of the Community Canada 5417 Posts	Posted 07/15/2014 5:32 pm "Average Circulated" is a very subjective phrase. It defines the average circulation on any year/type/mint-mark of coin. This is pretty much "In which grade is this coin most commonly found" A Roosevelt would be Average Circulated in AU while a Bust Dime (After 200+ Years of wear) should be G or aG. A Seated quarter may be XF or is we`re talking about a rare date such as the 1848-P Average Circulated could be VF. Just use PCGS Photograde (pcgs.com/photograde) to get a general idea of any coin you're having trouble grading. Report this Post to the Staff
