I was reading about full talon Susan B Anthony dollars on http://www.smalldollars.com/dollar/add017.html and am wondering if anyone has an opinion on these. I know these are not the most popular coins, but I am always looking for the next big thing (and not finding it ). There are a few older posts that have a couple of comments dedicated to the topic but nothing recent.

The market for Susan B. Anthony dollars is too small for to ever take off as a "next big thing". Full strike coins should be the goal of every advanced collector- paying a premium for full talon coins, I would advise against. I also doubt that most will have much success getting a premium because of that factor.

The entire SBA run is only 18 coins. While it might not be the 'next big thing', having a complete SBA set is still an impressive addition to a collection. Remember, the 1999 coins were only available from the Mint and the proof has a mintage of only 750,000 coins.

I need the 1979P wide-rim to complete mine.

I thought that this one was key...I guess it depends on what the grade is.
