Speaking of that sort of thing, I have an attractive set of Presidential Medals from the U.S. Mint. They came in an album which looks like a Whitman Album. Inside, President Taylor's name was spelled "Tatlor."
On the inside of the front cover of my Dansco Lincoln album: "Abraham Lincoln was born February 12th, 1909 in Hardin County, KY. ........."
So is the 12th the wrong day? Just think if the year was correct he would have been running against Roosevelt maybe. Now just what would our coins look like?
Dunno how that would have worked out. I've heard it said that if he was born later, in more modern times, he wouldn't have been elected. He wasn't terribly good looking and you know how shallow people are.
Bush Sr. didn't pick Dan Quayle for his mind ya know.
Not sure about that. What if he ran against Bush? Howabout that lady, whatever her name is, from NY. Imagine if her husband was not the previous President. Will bush be on our coins some day. No I think lately Lincoln would have a field day. Several years back, maybe not, but now?
