Are you referring to the "Check here to subscribe to this topic" box?
Sidebar; I am not the only one who noticed that the "spell check", box is gone.

And yes, we took away the forum spell checker because every browser has one now, and the forum's represented a lot of resource usage better used elsewhere.

Nope, that's been there for probably two years or so, maybe longer I'm horrible with time. Anyone that puts their zip code in there profile (US only) gets local news and weather. Don't worry, your zip code is not shown anywhere publicly.

Ok, just got a copy of the second one. I was sure I selected a copy on the first one, maybe I didn't  EDIT - just got a copy of the first one that I sent hours ago |
