1987 D What Is With This Lincoln

What has happened with this coin that it has all of these pimples (as I call it)

Also have a 1983 with same features.

Any and all information including value would be very helpful.

That is a very common thing to see on the cents of the 80s. Once they switched to the copper-plated zinc planchets later in 1982, coins of that year and later years can show the effects of the plating being bubbled.

It is sometimes due to air being trapped between the copper plating and the zinc core. It is sometimes due to the zinc corroding under the copper layer causing the surface of the coin to have that bubbly look.
